Position Summary :
The Yard Driver plays a crucial role in managing the movement of tractor trailers to and from loading docks, as well as parking loaded or empty trailers in their designated spots. This position requires local city driving to transport tractor trailers to offsite maintenance or inspection facilities. All driving activities must adhere to the highest safety standards, following company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The Yard Driver will also communicate professionally with co-workers and vendors, ensuring that all services and duties are performed according to best practices and customer service standards.
