Performance Health is seeking a 1st shift Production Worker III to join our team in Akron, OH. In this role, you will ensure that quality standards are met throughout the entire production process from raw materials to finished goods. This position operates equipment to produce finished goods in a variety of our areas: Synthetic Extrusion, Rubber Tubing, Braiders, TPE, Aquatics and Miscellaneous Therapy and Parabath.
This is a 1st shift position working 6am-2pm, Monday through Friday.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Trains and assists in supervision of associates.
- Performs final inspections of products
- Assembly and sub-assembly operations
- Operates various machinery including but not limited to; band saw, rivet machine, water jets, presses, grinders, molders, splint formers, perforators, buffers, coaters, extruders, buoy manufacturing, etc.
- Quality assurance of products, material maintenance and material handling
- Monitors, controls, and trouble shoots machines
- Picks and packs products and fills orders as needed
- Operates Lift truck
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
- 4-6 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate computer skills required (familiarity with MS Office Products)
- AS400 experience a plus
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/stoop/bend
