Working within a team, the Material Handler is responsible for the safe moving of product to a desired location and completes all assigned tasks productively with a high regard for quality. Must be certified and consistently operate a Reach Truck and/or Order Picker 75% of shift daily.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesStocks pick locations, pick orders via WMS tool, and moves any other material as neededProper picks the correct quantity and product per the WMS toolCollaborate with the Supervisor of the different functional areas to determine the work centers wants and needs to ensure adequate materials are availableVerifies proper inventory at work centers by cycle countingPuts away finished stock for shipment in to the required locations within the DCContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededRotate incoming and existing materials to ensure FIFO requirementsEnsures all raw materials are labeled properly with appropriate required informationOrganize and maintain the accuracy of inventoryMaintain and update necessary paperworkMaintains the DC in a neat, clean and orderly conditionOperates pallet jacks and forklifts as and when needed but must be certified and operate Reach and/or Order Picker 75% of daily shiftMaintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspectionsPerforms other duties as assigned Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years of distribution experienceStrong computer knowledge and experienceAbility to obtain OSHA approved forklift operation licenseStrong attention to detailClear communication skillsPrevious Material Handling experience preferredBenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $21.00 plus benefits.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily.
