Quality Assurance Manager

Performance Pattern & Machine is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager. We continuing to expand our market base beyond the industrial manufacturing arena into Aerospace tooling and production parts. PPM holds both ISO 9001 : 2015 and AS9100 : 2016D certifications. We are looking for that individual who is accountable and skilled to fill the position of Quality Assurance Manager.

Technical Knowledge Expert in CMM and PC-DMIS programming; Expert in geometric tolerancing; Expert in creating easy to read and effective CMM reports; Understands and can create various levels of PPAP submittals and First Article Submissions. Working knowledge of scanning (Romer) equipment – ability to utilize equipment and produce useful reports.

ISO 9001 : 2015 / AS9100 : 2016 requirements : Because we are certified, there are some reports that will need to maintained and submitted to the ISO Management Representative for his audits.

Systems : Creating and maintaining standard format reporting of CMM; Creating / maintaining and auditing system for document control; working within current ERP

Communication : Must be able to communicate issues with the staff and customers alike concisely and accurately. Responsible for playing a part in identifying problems and working with the team towards solutions. Responsible for submissions of PPAPs and First Articles as well as corrective action reports.

Must Be A Team Player : This person must initiate consistent and timely communication with supervising staff, production staff, sales staff and both suppliers and customers when needed. Expectations are that this person would be nearly obsessively neat and orderly and understand that they are the final authority on product shipped
