What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano Teacher position at Performance Play Music School?
Performance Play Music School is currently hiring a Piano Instructor to teach private lessons every TUE, WED, & THU. from 3:30-9 starting FEB 2025. Ideal candidate could also teach beginner voice and/or guitar. Additional days could be added in the coming weeks.
Our school is a modern facility with a family-friendly atmosphere and a great community of fun and talented instructors! We are located near the Southlands Mall in SE Aurora, so it generally works best if you are within a 30 min drive (see our address below). You may include your resume, but it is not required. Pay starts at $20-25/hour...based on your level of music education, teaching experience, and playing experience. We take care of all the admin. responsibilities (marketing, booking, billing, rescheduling, payroll, cleaning), so you can fully concentrate on teaching. Instructors are paid for all of their time at the school, including schedule gaps and trials. We also have our teachers run band practices for the students, which can be a fun addition to your week!
