What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract - 1099 Trainers & Coaches position at Performance Plus International Inc?
We are seeking qualified contract 1099 Trainers and Coaches to complement our team. This is a great opportunity for those who are seeking 1099 contract training and coaching work; this is not a full-time position. Trainers will conduct virtual and in-person training programs to improve individual and organizational performance in government and nonprofit organizations. Coaches will work with frontline to senior-level leaders to help them increase self-awareness, identify opportunities for growth/development, and improve their ability to lead others.
Contracted rates for Trainers are $500-$600 per 3.5-hour virtual session, $1,000 - $1,200 per full-day in-person session, and contracted hourly rates for Coaches are $150 - $200. Rates will vary according to assigned projects and the scope of work.

Trainer Responsibilities:
- Lead webinars and in-person focused on leadership topics: Leading Transformational Change, Creating an Inclusive Organizational Climate, Strategic Thinking, Team building, Leadership Styles, Emotional Intelligence, Managing Conflict, and Communication Skills.
- Maintain training attendance and records.
Coaching Responsibilities:
- Apply best practice coaching to work with middle to senior-level managers
- Schedule coaching sessions and enter notes in a web-based system
- Provide progress updates to the PPI leadership team
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or higher
- 5 years of facilitating learning in a group context
- 5 years of documented coaching skills (Certification preferred)
- Experience facilitating live training webinars using Zoom
- Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with program participants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Real-world business experience and expertise
- Understanding of and an ability to use experiential training techniques
- Active general liability and professional liability insurance policy
- Ability to travel, valid driver’s license, cell phone, and access to email
- Access to a sufficient credit limit for reimbursable expenses
