Quality Control Inspector
Duties:
- Meticulous and thorough in performing inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products on most types of fabrication, machined parts, welding and assembly of pressure vessels and related products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product conformity
- Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of non-compliance
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or areas of continuous improvement
- Document inspection results, maintain and update QC reports and statistical data
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
Skills:
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to interpret drawings, customer specifications and standards of moderate complexity
- Knowledge of quality management systems, shop procedures, welding techniques and weld procedures
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate quality issues
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge and understanding of various NDE processes
- Knowledge and experience working with ASME Code preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
