What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Safety Manager position at Performance Services?
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
- Conduct all on site safety operations including, but not limited to, inspections, purchasing safety equipment, and incident reporting.
- Ensure all safety trainings are up to date and correct.
- Develop site specific safety programs and plans.
- Ensure that all equipment is inspected.
- Conduct all incident and accident investigations.
- Conduct incident and analyzations in order to determine cause.
- Assist in the management workmen’s compensation; maintain compliance and manage care.
- Perform documented safety audits.
Training & Orientation
- Deliver safety training as needed to all PSI employees. This will include but is not limited to OSHA 10 and 30 hour, CPR and First Aid
- Develop and conduct on site orientation for contractors as needed.
Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate and collaborate with employees to achive safe project sites
- Communicate with all necessary people in order to manage and maintain all safety measures.
