Position Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Asheville / Western North Carolina
Position Type: 1099 (Independent Contractor) – 100% commission based
**Temporary Start-Up Assistance is offered to new hires
Compensation: Earnings are based on sales, with additional bonuses, contests and incentives.
Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time outside sales representative in the Asheville / Western NC area. Some of the responsibilities include the following:
· Build & Maintain Relationships: Make daily sales calls to establish and maintain relationships with automotive repair shops, body shops, dealerships, service centers, heavy truck repair shops, and maintenance centers.
· Sales & Product Knowledge: Promote a wide range of automotive and industrial products, ensuring customers are well-informed and satisfied with our products.
· Customer Service Excellence: Represent Performance Specialties with professionalism, solve problems and provide tailored solutions.
· Inventory Management: Manage the inventory levels for your customers while keeping the equipment area clean, providing ease of use and organization.
· Drive New Sales: Continuously identify new sales opportunities, be comfortable cold-calling potential customers to grow and scale your territory.

Ideal Candidate
· Industry knowledge: Familiarity with automotive/fleet truck parts, service, and body shop.
· Sales Experience: At least 2 years of sales experience is preferred but not required.
· Communication Skills: Must be comfortable making coldcalls and approaching potential customers.
· Physical Fitness: Some physical tasks may be required, such as lifting and squatting during fieldwork.
· Tech-Savvy: Must be able to use order-taking software and introduce customers to functions available on our website.
· Valid Drivers License: Must be able to travel within your territory.

Pay: $77,489.00 - $86,835.00 per year
