Description :

This person will manage HOS, planning drivers, monitoring loads, communicating with customers, tracking drivers, handling breakdowns, and administering EFS checks as necessary. You will work with drivers and customers to solve immediate issues as they arise. You will also cover shifts for night and weekend teammates. administering EFS checks as necessary. Requirements :

• Assist drivers by ensuring they are following company policies, procedures, federal and state regulations regarding hours of service, safety, and compliance regulations.
• Communicate with drivers and customers regularly, providing them with information, instructions, and support while addressing any issues or concerns they may have.
• Plan and assign drivers to routes and loads, based on their availability, qualifications, and preferences, while maintaining customer needs and expectations.
• Contact freight brokers to bid and book loads as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as Breakdown, Safety, Accounting, Account Management, Planners, and Dispatchers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the fleet.
• Handle breakdowns and assist drivers with repair solutions.
• Track and update driver activity through our software system to accurately reflect the movement of the trucks to ensure on time delivery.
