Lead Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at our North Carolina facility. This role is perfect for someone who excels in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, has a robust mechanical maintenance background, and thrives in a leadership position while rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
Pay and Benefits :
- Hourly rate : $30–$35 / hour (based on experience)

Schedule :
Day shift position with occasional night shift support (on-call availability for troubleshooting calls / texts).Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and lead maintenance team operations.Hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of metalworking equipment, including high-speed stamping or punch presses.Work with mechanical and servo-driven feed systems for metal strip feeding.Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical drive systems, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC controls.Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting using various instruments to test and trace current.Maintain and repair PLC drive units and electronic controls for metal processing equipment.Install, repair, and rig heavy machinery.Metal fabrication, including milling, grinding, cutting, welding, and basic machining.What We’re Looking For :
Demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair of high-speed metalworking equipment.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of heavy machinery installation and rigging.Experience in metal fabrication and machining.Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on in daily tasks.Ready to Apply?
