We are adding an IT System Support Specialist to our team. This role will provide a flexible, hybrid schedule option is available after successful completion of training. You can expect to work 1-2 days remotely and 3-4 days in the office each week.
In this role you will:
-Troubleshoot, identify and resolve escalated level of incoming queries/help desk tickets related to computer systems (software and hardware), servers, phone systems and networks
-Coordinate basic trouble shooting of incoming queries and issues with other staff.
-Monitor cases received and assigned to the queue and process them in first-in first-out priority
-Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved
-Provide documentation for queries/help desk tickets resolutions
-Identify technical issues, find applicable software updates or fixes, and create documentation designed to address issues in the future
-Ensure employees are entered into the systems correctly and have proper access and workflows
-Responsible for local and remote user support and training
-Perform daily, weekly, and maintenance tasks on computer systems, servers, phone systems, internet service provider (ISP), and networks
-Configure and set up laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers and other IT equipment for new employees
-Participate in planning and forecasting for company system needs relating to software and hardware, data management, as well as internal and external electronic communication systems
Ideal Candidate Profile:
-Help desk experience preferred
-CompTIA preferred
-Microsoft path preferred
Requirements:
-Associates degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology required
-Valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
-Approximately 10% travel to company sites required, which could include overnight stays.
-Knowledge and ability to understand and operate network functions, operating systems, and software applications such as the Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Windows, iOS and Active Directory. In addition, may be required to learn and use industry specific devices and software.
