Job description

We are looking for a Fire Alarm Test & Inspection Technician to join the team!

As a Fire Alarm Test & Inspection Technician, you're responsible for the inspection, service, and repair of fire alarm systems. Ensuring high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.

In this role you will :

  • Routinely inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems.
  • Conduct service calls and perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on low voltage systems.
  • Troubleshoot systems to determine source of problem and recommend solution(s).
  • Determine the presence of other fire protection and building systems, and device locations.
  • Conduct fire code compliance follow-ups to ensure that corrective actions are appropriated.
  • Document detailed reports of fire inspections performed, fire code violations observed, and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site.
  • Provide exceptional customer service & develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Interface successfully with clients and other branches of business; Administration, Sales, and Management.

Requirements :

  • 3 years’ experience performing test and inspection of fire alarm systems.
  • NICET certifications in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems and Water-Based Systems highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiar with applicable fire and building codes.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
