What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist - Performance and Sports position at Performx?
Did you get into PT to actually help people? Are you feeling burnt out and disenfranchised with the standard PT clinic model?
We did. Which is why we started Performx & flipped the whole model on its head. We're now looking for awesome PT's to join our team!
Our mission at Performx is to help all athletes overcome their limitations so they can do the things that mean the most.
We are an out of network "cash-based" clinic, meaning our focus is on the quality of care, not the quantity.
We offer flexible hours (build your own schedule) and get to work with awesome, athletic people truly making a positive, lasting difference.
We truly care about our patients and getting them the outcomes they desire - which is why we've taken off the 'insurance handcuffs,' giving you full control to treat in the best way you see fit.
For our patients this is a dream to get to where they want, but also holds you to the fire to be the best of the best.
If you’re afraid of taking initiative - being a part of a team that follows through on commitments, that holds each other accountable to a high standard and unmatched work ethic... this probably isn’t the position for you.
Performx is just getting started & we can't wait to build our dream team.
We're on the hunt to find an energetic and passionate Performance Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our team!
Our PTs see all patients one-on-one for an hour, and no more than 8 patients per day. They are not restricted by insurance companies dictating care.
Plus, we have the best patients who are active, motivated, and want to be here!
Qualities We're Looking For:
- Eager to make a REAL difference. Quality underpins everything we do & we get our patients long-lasting outcomes.
- A strong desire to learn, challenge yourself and others, problem solve, and GROW (yourself, the team, our company)
- You enjoy pushing your own body - we practice what we preach!
- A high level of compassion for others and a natural ability to connect with a wide variety of people
- Confidence in the ability to educate people on what we do, how we do it, and emphasize the value in it
- A strong familiarity with the fitness, health, and wellness industry
- The ability to be a true team player
(The usual) Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to patients, focusing on performance enhancement and sports-related injuries.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Utilize core skills such as patient care, physiology knowledge, and orthopedics to deliver high-quality care.
