Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and conducting regular audits.
- Support the buying and selling processes to optimize product availability and sales performance.
- Conduct interviews and participate in employee orientation to onboard new team members.
- Implement effective sales management strategies to achieve store targets.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Utilize strong math skills for accurate financial reporting and inventory management.
- Foster team management by motivating staff, providing training, and encouraging collaboration.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms for product purchases.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
- Proven skills in inventory control, sales management, and cash handling are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interview and train employees effectively.
