Retail Sales Associate + Commission Sales

Position: Retail Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Follow leadership instructions on day-to-day activities

· Pursues sales and strives to meet or exceeds daily, weekly, and monthly sales

· Demonstrates knowledge of merchandise, current marketing campaigns and in-store promotions

· Achieve personal and store sales goals by applying sound customer service and sales protocol

· Maintain a positive and constructive communication

· Become familiar with products, brands, and prices and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to suit customers' needs

Qualifications & Experience

· Minimum of 1 year in a fast-paced retail position, or other relevant work experience

· Proven record of achieving sales and customer service targets

· Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Flexible availability to work during peak retail hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays

· High school diploma or equivalent; equivalent work experience preferred

Skills

· Experience with basic technology (POS system, & Microsoft Office programs)

· Strong Customer service skills

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Friendly and positive personality

· Ability to build rapport with other employees and customers

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 6 hours a day

· Bending, rotating, and reaching conducive to a retail environment and to receiving, pricing, and stocking merchandise

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
