Perfumes 4U is a family-owned and operated perfume retail company that has been in business since 2001. We have been working hard to offer high-end products to our valued customers both domestically and internationally.
We are looking for a successful Store Manager. A Store Manager who is tactful yet aggressive. A results-oriented Store Manager with good communication skills, energetic and go-getter! A Store Manager who can exceed goals and create a successful sales team.
As a Store Manager, success is defined by your ability to:
- Increase sales, ensure high customer satisfaction, and maintain a well-organized, clean store.
- Recruit, hire, and retain successful sales associates. Develop, train, motivate, and empower your associates.
- Be an excellent leader, set good examples, and maintain a loyal following.
- Foster a team-oriented environment and develop strong employee and client relations.
- Reduce store turnover or maintain low turnover.
- Problem solvers improve processes, maintain strong follow-up, and communicate ideas to upper management.
- Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills.
STORE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all phases of the store's operations. Participates in store selling efforts to ensure personal goals, as well as store sales and productivity goals, are met.
- Responsible for addressing personnel and performance issues, including coaching, verbal and written warnings, progressive discipline, and termination when needed.
- Create schedules based on workload planning and business needs.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping and store appearance.
- Manage the stockroom operations to ensure new merchandise gets to the sales floor promptly. As a result, merchandise is received correctly, and maintains tight control of all merchandise.
- Analyze and review daily store reports to evaluate overall store performance.
- Completes special assignments as directed by management.
STORE MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Prior experience in retail management is necessary.
* Self-confident and mature, with a positive attitude and approach to work
* Ability to train, coach, and develop Associates at all levels.
* Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals.
* Develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute them to achieve results.
* Ability to work evenings and weekends.
* Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Direct supervision of Key Holders and Associates for the store.
