Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position Details
- Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provides patient hygiene, comfort measures, mobilization and transportation, and contributes to patient assessment.
- Participates in the care of adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. As experience dictates, the nursing assistant may also participate in the care of infants and pediatrics.
- Performs patient care including baths, oral hygiene, and comfort measures including backrubs, skin and hair care, dressing, turning and positioning.
- Assists with meals and oral fluids.
- Charts patient care given and patient data collected, according to guidelines.
- Cleans and restocks areas/equipment as designated.
What You Offer
- High school diploma or equivalent and Registered Nursing Assistant by the State of Minnesota (previous experience not required).
- Ability to learn how to operate patient care equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
- Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and team-player mentality.
- Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Work Schedule

We offer flexible scheduling with a variety of shift options. Most schedules include rotating weekends and holidays. Shift differentials are available for evening and night shifts, and we also provide an additional $4 per hour night premium for straight night shifts.
- Day Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Evening Shift: 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Night Shift: 10:15 pm - 6:15 am
