Position Details
The Homemaker position is a blended role with primary responsibilities for dietary and housekeeping duties in the household. Assigned areas are maintained in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly and attractive manner in accordance with established procedures and as guided by the Household Coordinator. The homemaker works cooperatively with residents, coworkers, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment.
What You Offer

Prefer Registered Nursing Assistant by the State of Minnesota; but not required.

Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and team-player mentality.

Excel at working independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Assists the Food Service Work with meal and snack preparation within the kitchenettes for breakfast and lunch which may require light cooking or baking of foods

Adheres to diet and supplement orders and complies with food allergies and likes/dislikes of residents

Assists with assemble and dissemble of dining rooms for meal times and promotes positive dining experience assuring resident dignity

Provides resident meal assistance, if applicable with CNA certification

Maintains clean and organized work environment and adheres to cleaning schedule

Replenishes kitchenettes with food and supplies to meet the requested and required needs of residents

Ensures proper handling and storage of food, supplies, and chemicals to comply with food safety and sanitation regulations, records temperature of food and equipment based on protocol
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 75 hours per biweekly pay period.
- Day shift; 6:00am-2:00pm.
- Most schedules include rotating weekends and holidays.
