Fulfillment Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Fullfillment Technician to manage the daily shipping and receiving operations. Reporting to the VP of Pharmacy Operations, the Fulfillment Technician will oversee the packing and shipment of high-touch patient medications and medical devices to patient homes, provider offices, and other pharmacies. The Technician will ensure the safe and timely delivery of packages by tracking shipments, addressing issues as they arise, reporting lost packages, managing shipping-related inventory, and collaborating with external partners to uphold the highest standards of patient care.

M-F (no weekends), shift 10a-6:30p

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures adherence to all company policies and guidelines.
• Verifies pertinent information related to order processing which may include patient address, physician address, and expected need by date.
• Appropriately packs and ships orders received to the appropriate destination using the approved pack outs.
• Sends out needed medical devices and supports any service needs or returns
• Completes refurbishment and Quality Assurance process for returned devices.
• Communicates with patients via phone regarding delivery delays.
• Monitor and intervene on delayed packages through shipping vendors.
• When necessary, assist with inventory management and procurement.
• Unpack, code and distribute items to appropriate storage locations
• Supervise the loading and unloading of items into trucks or other vehicles

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Inventory Management experience is preferred, but not required
• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
• Proficiency in computerized systems and software applications required.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
