Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities include some of the following:
- Provides direct patient group treatment
- Writes progress notes for one-to-one and group sessions according to policies and procedures
- Provides comprehensive therapeutic activities consistent with each patient's active treatment program
- Education: Master’s Degree in a related field (counseling, recreation therapy) preferred
- Experience: At least one (1) year of experience providing group therapy in a hospital setting with psychiatric patients preferred
- Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care Training within 30 days of employment
- Schedule: Flexible with some weekends
