We are looking for a dedicated professional with a minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial irrigation systems. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients' landscapes are efficiently and effectively irrigated, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with a variety of irrigation components and systems while demonstrating strong time management, communication skills, and the ability to efficiently complete fieldwork documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial irrigation systems, including valves, wiring, spray heads, rotor heads, flex pipes, drip lines, lateral lines, and mainlines of various sizes.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Program and adjust irrigation timers/controllers for various turf grasses, plants, trees, flowers, and areas with varying sun and shade exposure.
• Service and maintain backflow prevention devices and master valves according to regulatory standards.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance of irrigation systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Install and repair various types of pipe fittings and ensure proper system pressure and coverage.
• Accurately complete and submit fieldwork sheets, including job descriptions, time logs, and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial irrigation installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • Backflows and master valves
  • Controller boxes and programming timers
  • Different turf grass, plant, and tree watering needs
  • Valves, wiring, and various irrigation system components
  • Spray heads, rotor heads, drip irrigation systems, and flex pipe installations
  • Lateral and mainline piping systems with various pipe sizes and fittings
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Certification in backflow prevention (preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
