Position Overview
This is a developmental leadership role with the expectations that include providing direction to production operators in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity. This person will facilitate and execute the production department’s action plans. They will help implement corrective action plans that create long-term solutions to systemic problems. They will support the operators to ensure the ongoing operation of the facility and perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service, and Cost Objectives. They will also comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements and conduct all company related business in a professional, safe, and efficient manner, in full compliance with PS policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

•Direct a production and packaging crew

• Salt panel and blending panel operations

• Batch preparation

• Packaging Operations, Package, label, and weigh Phos-Chek® products

• Complete production records and records of lot numbers shipped

• Collect and mark representative quality control samples

• Train and Lead Operators in the production of Phos-Chek® retardant

• Assess and determine disposition of returned damaged, and old age products

• Dispatch customer orders

• Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for production employees

• Determine production personnel needs and staff accordingly with guidance of the Director of US Operations

• Plan and schedule production with guidance of the Director of US Operations

• Material handling, warehousing, and shipping of Phos-Chek® retardant and suppressant products.

•Physical control of non-conforming raw materials and finished goods.

• Maintain quality awareness among seasonal workforces.

• Maintain production records.

• Help ensure compliance with regulations for D.O.T., industrial Hygiene, OSHA, etc.

• Support NetSuite Data entry to process daily production entries, and raw material receipts.

Record Keeping required above will be performed per Perimeter Solutions Inventory System

Supervises and directs seasonal manufacturing plant personnel by ensuring:

• Safe work practices and safety policies are adhered to

• Adequate supervision is exercised for manufacturing and storage operations

• Appropriate functional job descriptions set out for all employees

• Appropriate job training and performance evaluation for all employees

• Appropriate personnel documentation and records are maintained

• Participates in the hiring process for seasonal plant personnel

• Participation in the Joint Safety Committee

 Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Minimum 10-years production and or maintenance experience at a production site

• Minimum 5-years supervisory or lead experience

• Oral and written communication skills

• Fluent in Spanish

• Mechanical aptitude

• Computer Skills in Word and Excel

• People skills - tact and diplomacy

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• This position will require at least 25% travel

• This position will be working in a manufacturing site atmosphere

• Extended work periods are to be expected during period end closing & fire season

• Work requirements include availability after hours when required

• Dispatch on call customer orders

• The nature of the business may expose the employee to moderate levels of physical and mental stress

• Must be able to work in a Team atmosphere

• Must have a valid Driver’s License
