Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the quality of products throughout the production process at the manufacturing facilities for Phos-Chek® Long Term Fire Retardants and Foams in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and McClellan, CA, along with supporting tolling partners at multiple locations. Perimeter Solutions operates as an emergency response business, swiftly adapting to the demands of wildland fires requiring immediate production and logistics action, particularly during fire season. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet established standards and specifications before they reach our customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards. The Quality & Compliance Coordinator will conduct all company-related business professionally, safely, and efficiently, in full compliance with Perimeter Solutions EH&S policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe working environment (and ensure personal safe working practices).

• Compliance with all employee job safety requirements and regulations required by company policies.

• Inform the Quality Manager of any Quality issues or processes that become non-compliant with the specified requirement and collaborate with the QC team to address and resolve these issues.

• Experience with electronic quality management systems (eQMS).

• Manage and maintain the Quarantine log, including updating the inventory of NCP products.

• Maintain and update controlled documents, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and manuals.

• Ensure all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and properly formatted.

• Manage document lifecycles, including creation, revision, approval, distribution, and obsolescence, including updating templates, revision histories, and control logs.

• Ensure all documents are correctly formatted, labeled, and stored for easy retrieval. Conduct periodic reviews and audits of documentation for consistency and compliance.

• Analyze and revise existing workflows and documentation to align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and evolving business needs, ensuring clear communication and adherence.

• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards (ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 19011:2018).

• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a clear understanding of quality requirements.

• Monitor adherence to internal documentation policies and procedures.

• Lead internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate approvals and signatures from relevant stakeholders.

• Conduct periodic document control processes and systems audits to identify and address discrepancies.

• Assist the Quality Control Technician as needed and provide coverage in their absence.

• Support Quality Control operations during periods of high demand, especially when multiple production shifts are running.

• Performs other Quality Assurance related job functions assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

 Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Demonstrated ability to stay organized with excellent organizational skills, a high degree of initiative, a sense of urgency, and flexibility. Must be able to work independently and be assertive when necessary.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position at a minimum.

• 5 years’ experience in quality control, process writing, inspection, or a related role.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.

• Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools and equipment.

• Good analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Requires operational knowledge of computer literacy and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience updating and standardizing procedures.

• Proven ability to revise workflows and documentation.

• Be willing to work overtime when needed.

• Travel may be required to other manufacturing sites and airbases.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Work in a production area with fast-moving equipment, moderate to high noise levels, and temperature changes.

• Perform repetitive lifting, bending, grasping, reaching, pulling, climbing, and working at the computer.

• Must be able to stand for a long, extended period when needed.

• Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds.

• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• This position will be working in a manufacturing site atmosphere.

• Extended work periods are to be expected during period end closing & fire season.
