Position Overview :
The primary focus of this position is to oversee and maintain all equipment at the tollers and terminals for Phos-Chek Long Term Fire Retardants, while also providing essential support to the manufacturing facilities in Rancho Cucamonga and McClellan, CA. Additionally, this role will offer assistance to airbases as needed. This individual will be responsible for managing the installation, repair, maintenance, and monitoring industrial processing and production machinery. This position involves working with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The Toller, Terminal, and Manufacturing Equipment Specialist will conduct all company-related business in a professional, safe, and efficient manner, in full compliance with Perimeter Solutions EH&S policies.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Adheres to Perimeter Solutions Safety Policies
- Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using computerized management system (Fiix)
- Conduct audits of site-specific maintenance plans to verify adherence to established maintenance standards and best practices
- Support in the recirculation of product at terminals and tolling facilities
- Troubleshoots and maintains motors, gear boxes, screw conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment
- Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics
- Source replacement parts and perform repairs
- Safely operates power tools, hoist, and hand tools
- Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers, and specifications
- Maintain parts and tools inventory
- The maintenance and repairs of our dry product production equipment which include various conveying, reduction, screening, blending, and packaging equipment items
- The maintenance and repairs of our Dry and Liquid product production equipment which includes various motors, pumps, piping, fillers, and packaging equipment
- Responding to early or late callouts
