Overview
My client in Woodstock, GA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inside/Outside, Assistant Project Manager to oversee and assist in managing pool construction projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
*Pool Construction Experience Desired but not Required.
This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, contractors, and team members while utilizing various construction management software tools.
Duties
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Order job materials.
- Scheduling subcontractors and delivery of materials.
- Utilize Asana for project management, budgeting, and tracking progress.
- Review schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance with design specifications and local regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and enforce safety protocols on the construction site. Act as a Liaison between the Client and in-house Management
- Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring all parties meet their obligations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve design or construction challenges.
- Prepare reports on project status for stakeholders, highlighting milestones achieved and any potential risks or delays.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize productivity across all project phases.
- Manage punch lists at the close of each job
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in management software such as Asana or similar is preferred.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and time management principles.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is required.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
- Knowledge of contract management practices within the construction industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices on construction sites is essential.
