UV-Vis-NIR / Fluorescence Sr. Field Applications Scientist

The Field Application Scientist (FAS) will work with Sales Representatives to achieve instrument sales goals by applying scientific knowledge of UV / VIS / NIR and Fluorescence technologies. These instruments are used across a diverse range of markets, including Engineered Materials, Optics, and Pharmaceuticals.
Location : This position will be REMOTE but candidate must reside near the Shelton, Connecticut area for meetings on occasion.
This FAS position is the key applications support person for the Northeastern United States, providing :
- Customer demonstrations, analyze samples, generate professional reports, and present results and solutions which best address customers' challenges
- Assembling and delivering technical product presentations (to individual prospects and seminar / tradeshow audiences) in poster or oral technical sessions
- Training and applications implementation
- Ongoing feedback to Product Line Leaders and Product Managers on emerging applications, trends, performance and competitive landscape
- Developing application notes based on market needs
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- This role will travel up to 50% throughout the year

The annualcompensation range for this full-time position is $101k to $152k. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
