What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Server/Bartender position at Perkins Cove Kitchen?
* Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, making drinks, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and ability to make recommendations based on customer preferences.
* Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared according to customer specifications.
* Serve food and beverages promptly, managing multiple tables/seats and prioritizing tasks to meet service deadlines.
* Suggest and promote specials, add-ons, or additional menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.
* Be flexible and responsive for customer requests, dietary restrictions, and changes in the dining environment.
* Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and servers to ensure seamless operations and a positive team dynamic.
* Maintain a tidy and organized work area, including setting and clearing tables, refilling condiments, and promptly cleaning spills.
* Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, provide correct change, and manage payments efficiently.
* Display a professional demeanor, adhere to dress code standards, and uphold the restaurants policies to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
* Ability and willingness to learn bartending is desirable.
