Position Purpose:
To provide guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment.
Scope:
Performs all duties necessary to provide maximum guest satisfaction through the cleaning and sanitation of dish ware. Works under the direction supervision of the Food Production Manager and the indirect supervision of the Manager-on-Duty.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provides guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plate-ware, glassware and equipment.
Handles and stocks a continuous supply of wares.
Operates and maintains the dish machine and disposal, including disassembly and assembly.
Properly uses chemicals, including cleaning and sanitizing agents.
Sorts, racks and washes all wares according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the dish room.
Anticipates, identifies and communicates any system breakdowns to the Food Production Manager or Manager-on-Duty.
Empties and cleans trash receptacles and transfers bags to outside dumpster.
Cleans heart of the house, including floors, walls, ceiling, all counters and shelves, and employee restrooms.
Cleans and maintains the restrooms and parking lot.
Performs all other duties for which employee is qualified as dictated by business need.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
