Summary

As a Cashier at Perkins, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests and ensures their dining experience is seamless. Located in a vibrant restaurant environment, this role is vital in supporting our mission of providing outstanding service while efficiently managing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Accurately process customer transactions using the cash register.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and maintain accurate cash drawers.
• Assist with product demos and promote menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and dining space.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience.
• Proven experience in retail sales or cashier roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse clientele.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.20 - $17.64 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
