What you can expect as our Support Technician
As our Support Technician, reporting to the Director, Information Technology, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying and supporting a variety of technology used by our staff and students. This includes responding to email and voice requests, identifying problems, researching solutions and resolving issues in a timely manner while working closely with other team members and outside consultants
We’d love to talk with you if you have many of the following:
- Ability to respond to support requests entered into our ticket and project management system
- Install, troubleshoot and support Windows and Mac clients
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot user accounts using Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace Admin and OneLogin SSO
- Enroll and manage Apple iOS, Windows OS, iPhone, and iPad devices in our Intune and Mosyle MDMs (Mobile Device Management Solutions)
- Manage and support Zoom user accountsInstall and support assistive technology in classroom and office settings
- Using InTune and approved software installers, deploy Microsoft Office and other software packages used on campus
- Support and troubleshoot software, both in-person and using remote tools
- Support clients using Gmail in a Google Workspace email environment
- Image, document and deploy technology hardware through our asset management life-cycle process
- Coordinate with our Network and System Administrators to support our campus-wide wired/wireless network
- Support clients using VPN
- Work with vendors on project based work and support issues
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Associate Degree and/or relevant IT certifications required
- 1-2 years of related technical experience
- Experience tracking requests and inventory in a helpdesk system
- Strong technical skills to troubleshoot Windows and Apple hardware, peripherals and software applications, iPhones and iPads
- Experience supporting clients in a Google Workspace environment, managing devices in InTune or Mosyle, and managing user accounts with Active Directory
- Google Admin and Monday.com experience is a plus
