What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Bartender position at Perle Restaurant?
Perle Restaurant is expanding and looking to hire an experienced Lead Bartender who can work behind our bar and lead on the transition from our beer and wine license to serving full liquor.
Perle is located in the heart of Old-Town Pasadena and was recognized by the Michelin Guide and made the 101 Best Restaurants in LA by The Los Angeles Times. We are seeking a Lead Bartender who has appropriate experience in similar upscale casual and fine dining restaurants with coursed meals and thoughtful beverage programs. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the art of hospitality. Perle is a pooled house where teamwork is key.
We are seeking a candidate that has experience with leading behind a bar and has the capability to build our full beverage program, being responsible for: ordering, inventory, menu development, training bartenders, beverage costing, creating systems for the everyday operation of the bar, having solid knowledge of liquor - know the origin and general characteristics of each brand.
This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively on designing our bar, take lead on building the beverage programme and the inaugural menu launch.
