What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Perma-Column?
Perma-Column® and Sturdi-Wall® are the newest innovation in the Post-Frame Building Industry. The patented design combines the economy of post-frame construction with the durability of a concrete foundation. Perma-Column East serves customers throughout PA, NY, the New England region, VA, WV and all states down through the eastern seaboard to the Carolinas. Our quality products can be purchased/ordered via our building supplier network or direct shipment. Perma-Column East's post frame foundation products are of the highest quality, cost efficient and are delivered on time!
The open opportunity is with our entry-level laborers in the Pre-Cast Concrete Stripping and Pouring department.

Essential Functions
- Work directly with “Team Leader” of the Precast Concrete Stripping and Pouring Department
- Maintain safety standards and keep a clean work area in and around Concrete Mixer
- Perform other duties within PCE Operations as assigned by Team Leaders or PCE Management
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent (preferred)
- Production & Assembly Occupations: 1 year experience (preferred)
- Able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
- Able to make repetitive motions
Work Schedule
- First or Second shift
- 4 Day Work Weeks
- 10 Hour Workdays
- 2 Paid Breaks 20 Minute Lunch Break
- Overtime may be required as needed
