Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Automation Engineer located in Dallas, TX. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and implement automated tests, while maintaining documentation of test cases and results.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing and developing automated test cases and scripts
- Knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot testing issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
