Practice Summary:
The experience of our client’s Real Estate Practice spans 40 years of delivering multidisciplinary legal solutions for property investment, development and management, as well as real estate finance. They draw upon the knowledge of more than 700 real estate lawyers, and the resources that GT’s global organization has to offer. We seek to provide clients with integrated legal services for all phases of a transaction. Their client base comprises a broad range of property developers, lenders, investment managers, opportunity funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), pension funds, and private owners. They advise clients on a variety of matters involving diverse forms of commercial, retail, and residential real estate.
Position Description:
Candidates should possess a wealth of experience in commercial real estate, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, borrower-side financing, leasing, portfolio or multi-site purchases or sales transactions, title and survey review, and general transactional due diligence. Experience in more than one of the following areas is also a plus: joint ventures, fund formation and fund investment, and general corporate law. Candidates should possess a strong academic background, superior drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to take on significant project responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Candidates should also be diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented. Our group is specifically seeking an applicant that has the experience to take the lead role on real estate transactions, including experience with direct negotiation of transactional documents, primary responsibility for drafting of fundamental documents, and who can oversee supporting junior associates as deals may require. Must be admitted or be eligible for admission to the Colorado Bar.
