We are looking for a CIO (Chief Information Officer) to join our Executive Team and bring technical expertise, high business acumen and strong leadership that is aligned with our RESPECT philosophy. This is a key role in ensuring we are well-positioned for success in meeting or exceeding our internal and external customer needs and expectations. In collaboration with others, the CIO will drive the strategic direction of our information technology (IT) applications and infrastructure and be responsible for effective IT solutions, systems and support. The responsibilities include :

  • Establishing the Company's IT vision and strategies, developing the product roadmap and leading all aspects of the Company's technology development to execute current and future Company goals and objectives in partnership with other senior level leaders.
  • Directing the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business performance.
  • Providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations as well as collaborate with, counsel and guide other members of the management team in IT related matters.
  • Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan. Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all IT staff in accordance with company objectives and guidelines
  • Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
  • Negotiate vendor agreements with the focus of IT and business requirements, pricing and shared risk / reward.
  • Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities, including government, vendors, and partner organizations
  • Define and communicate corporate plans, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree required. BA / BS in Computer Science, Business Administration or related major.  Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in Information Technology at the senior level, managing IT operations. Minimum five years' experience with ERP systems and at least two implementations.  SAP a plus. Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of business theory, strategic planning, execution, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operation
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, coaching / facilitating, team building, motivating, and listening skills to manage multiple complex projects and effectively delegate. Demonstrated strong EQ (Emotional Intelligence) skills
  • Proven experience in IT planning, organization, and development. Business process optimization including business system integration for enterprise architectures and cloud platforms
  • Demonstrated project management principals; excellent communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT
