Job Title: MSAT Scientist—Research and Development

Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Specialist to support clinical and commercial manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for process data collection, monitoring, and analysis, as well as change control and deviation management. Additionally, the specialist will contribute to the writing of technical documents to ensure the successful manufacturing and release of batches at internal and external manufacturing sites.
A key aspect of this role is providing real-time technical support to Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) by responding to process-related inquiries and offering data-driven insights to optimize manufacturing operations. The majority of responsibilities will involve collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data to improve efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, monitor, and analyze manufacturing process data to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support change control and deviation management, ensuring timely resolution of process issues.
- Provide technical support to CMOs, offering real-time feedback on process and manufacturing-related inquiries.
- Develop and compile data packets for investigational support, including Out of Specification (OOS) cases.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as Minitab and JMP to drive insights and process improvements.
- Support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience in cell therapy drug product manufacturing and aseptic processing.
- Background in MSAT, Technical Support, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Proficiency in Minitab, JMP, and other data analysis systems used in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of graphing tools to visualize and interpret manufacturing data.
- Ability to mine, gather, and analyze data creatively to drive decision-making.
- Flexibility to work across multiple systems, projects, and focus areas.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related technical manufacturing role.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
