The Production Engineering Tech will be responsible for generating comprehensive technical reports, data analysis, and documentation related to production operations. This position requires a deep understanding of production processes, the ability to analyze operational data, and the skill to produce clear, actionable reports to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
General Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the Production team by troubleshooting issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions.
- Work closely with production engineers to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Work with the engineering team to monitor production data and identify process inefficiencies or bottlenecks in production systems.
- Analyze production reports to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvements in equipment performance, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, and the field, to develop and implement new processes or upgrades.
- Lead or contribute to projects aimed at improving product quality, increasing production efficiency, and reducing downtime.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Associate’s degree in engineering technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in oil, gas, or energy production or related field.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret production reports and identify trends or anomalies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and report on technical issues.
