Our client, a top national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Business Litigation practice group in Austin .
Candidate Profile :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Texas.
- 4-6 years of substantive experience in complex business litigation , including real estate, trademarks and copyrights, securities, insurance, franchisor / franchisee disputes , and corporate and partnership issues.
- Strong trial skills, including experience with hearings, depositions, and a comfort level with trial settings under reasonable oversight.
- Previous AmLaw 200 law firm experience, with excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Texas courts and rules is an essential skill for this role, and out-of-state candidates will not be considered at this time.
