Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 200 national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate with at least one (1) year experience to join their national Business Litigation team.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active California bar license.
- At least 1 year business litigation experience, including managing all aspects of case work-up and trial preparation.
- Please Note: This is an Associate level position, not Counsel or Partner level for this position
- Expertise in legal research and writing, including drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Ambitious, driven, and a team-oriented mindset to support and grow our national litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of business litigation cases, including case work-up, trial preparation, and courtroom representation.
- Draft and review critical legal documents, including briefs, complaints, and motions.
- Provide strategic advice and manage sophisticated business litigation matters.
- Engage directly with clients and play an active role in developing case strategy.
