Our client, a top-ranked AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Patent Agent to join their Patents & Emerging Technologies Group , a premier practice consistently recognized for its expertise in patent prosecution, litigation support, and corporate IP strategy. This opening is in the firm's Silicon Valley office.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background who want to work on innovative patent matters for startups and leading technology companies.

Candidate Profile :

• A degree ( M.S . or Ph.D. preferred) in Electrical Engineering , Computer Science , Computer Engineering , Bioinformatics , Biostatistics , or Physics .
• 2–10 years of patent prosecution experience , ideally serving as a primary contact for start-up clients .
• USPTO registration required .
• Strong technical expertise and ability to work closely with inventors , scientists , and engineers on complex patent matters.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Member of the patent bar and have superior technological background

This role offers competitive compensation , with a salary range of $112,500-$250,000 , commensurate with experience, and the potential for discretionary performance-based bonuses .
