ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – LABOR & EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION

is seeking a highly-motivated Associate Attorney to join their Labor & Employment Litigation team in Richmond . This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a wide range of labor and employment matters, working with sophisticated clients on cutting-edge legal issues. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and eager to take on significant responsibilities while contributing to the firm’s expanding labor and employment practice.
Candidate Profile :
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
Active Bar Admission in Virginia .
1–5 years of substantive litigation experience.
Background in labor and employment litigation preferred , but general civil litigation backgrounds will be considered .
Strong litigation and case management skills , with the ability to handle complex legal matters independently.
Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Desire to be part of a busy national practice, demonstrating initiative and the ability to assume responsibility for matters.
Key Responsibilities :
Represent clients in complex labor and employment litigation matters.
Manage cases from inception through resolution , including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
Provide strategic counsel to clients on labor and employment disputes and compliance matters .
Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.
Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.
