Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in Utah.
- 3–6 years of substantive litigation experience preferably in commercial, corporate, financial services, real estate, regulatory, or construction disputes.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience handling litigation matters in state and federal courts, including motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong advocacy skills and the ability to communicate complex legal arguments effectively.
- Represent clients in commercial litigation matters in local, state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
- Participate in discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
- Develop case strategy and collaborate with senior attorneys on high-stakes litigation.
- Provide counsel on regulatory and compliance issues affecting commercial clients.
- Engage with clients to provide strategic advice on dispute resolution and litigation risk.
