My client is expanding and seeks a Research Associate to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the NGS platform, receiving and processing samples for sequencing using Oxford Nanopore device.
- Optimize the NGS pipeline from nucleic acid extraction to sequence read processing to ensure that high quality data is generated.
- Prepare and present technical data and reports.
- Maintain an up-to-date lab notebook, actively participate in meetings, prepare presentations, and communicate to leadership team regularly.
- BS/MS in molecular biology or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
- 1-5 years of next generation sequencing
- Familiarity and experience working with Oxford Nanopore methods.
- Data analysis and presentation.
- This is a Research Associate or Sr Research Associate role.
- Compensation includes base salary discretionary bonus exceptional benefits package.
- Relocation allowance is available.
