Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 2–5 years of substantive experience in public finance, project finance, or other finance transactions.
- Familiarity with public and project finance documentation and/or tax equity structures.
- Experience handling complex financial transactions, including deal structuring and closings.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent client-facing skills and a proactive approach to business development.
- Represent borrowers, developers, investment banks, investors, issuers, and lenders in public and project finance transactions.
- Draft and negotiate finance documents, including bond purchase agreements, loan agreements, and disclosure documents.
- Advise clients on deal structures, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage transaction closings, ensuring all legal and financial requirements are met.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop innovative financing solutions for infrastructure projects.
- Participate in marketing and business development initiatives, including client engagement and industry conferences.
