POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist I, is responsible for staffing employees throughout the organization by partnering with leadership and management teams in various locations. The main focus of the role is to support the Talent Acquisition Manager in assessing and identifying new innovative methods for sourcing candidates, marketing the organization/roles and retaining employees by engaging existing employees and attracting new talent to the organization.
This role will be responsible for contributing to key projects and representing Human Resources/Talent Management in larger company conversations as needed with direction and guidance from the CHRO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Talent Acquisition Team in the end-to-end recruitment process for the organization (Job descriptions, recruitment tools, source/screen, interview, hire and onboard)
- Collaborate with hiring managers, to provide responsive and effective recruitment support
- Assist with onboarding employees, and all related tasks
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics monthly, quarterly and annually
- Educate hiring managers and interviewers on sourcing methodologies, interview strategies to improve hiring effectiveness and metrics
- Maintain user accounts and maintain/resolve all internal/external user inquiries
- Strong proficiency and leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems (data entry, managing new positions, system changes, maintenance to coding, and updating job descriptions)
- Liaise with applicable vendor(s) to report, monitor and track system errors, defects and/or enhancement requests via proper protocol
- Be an ambassador of our brand and culture in all interactions (internal and external)
- Support implementation and execution of annual calendar of events and promote via independent communications and/or collectively with company-wide communications

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced recruitment agency, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications in Talent Development are a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ATS platforms.
- Passion for talent acquisition and a keen eye for spotting great candidates.
