United Trades of America is seeking skilled carpenters to join our team in West Point, Mississippi. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry, with experience in industrial and commercial settings. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using tools such as rulers, pencils, and chalk.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, methods, and tools. (must have own tools/PPE)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials (up to 50lbs. unassisted) and working on ladders or scaffolding.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Prior forklift experience.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
**Pay Rate:** **$14-16 per hour** based on experience.
