Job Description:
United Trades of America is seeking Commercial and Industrial Electricians for a client in Decatur, AL. This position is for local candidates only (no per diem or travel pay). Electricians will work on commercial and industrial projects, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and panel installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.
- Work efficiently and safely, following all workplace safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
- minimum of 4 years experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and blueprints.
- Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Local to the Decatur area (no travel or per diem offered).
