About Us :
We seek skilled Flooring Installer Foreman to join our team for an upcoming data center project, ensuring precision and quality in flooring installations.
Job Responsibilities :
Lead and manage flooring crews, coordinating with office staff, field teams, and General Contractor (GC) representatives.
Install various flooring types, including but not limited to :
Hardwood (nail-down, glue-down, floating)
Laminate and vinyl plank
Tile (including layouts, cuts, and grouting)
Carpet (roll and tile format, including stretching, seaming, and tack strip installation)
Prepare subfloors through leveling, patching, and other necessary techniques.
Perform moisture mitigation, including testing and applying moisture barriers for concrete and wood substrates.
Install trim and finishing elements such as tile or carpeted baseboards, thresholds, and transitions.
Utilize flooring-specific tools, including saws, sanders, floor rollers, adhesive applicators, and moisture meters.
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
Maintain a strong focus on high-quality finishes, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and craftsmanship.
Qualifications :
Experience : Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role in flooring installation.
Leadership : Foreman candidates must have experience managing crews and hold an OSHA 30 certification.
Skills : Expertise flooring material installation, subfloor preparation, and moisture mitigation.
Tool Proficiency : Familiarity with flooring-specific tools and techniques.
Blueprint Reading : Ability to interpret and execute plans accurately.
Attention to Detail : Strong focus on high-quality finishes and safety compliance.
