A road construction company responsible for installing signage and pavement markings is seeking an experienced Parking Lot Striping Foreman.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5 years of recent verifiable experience. Candidate experience will be tested before employment.
Job Duties :
- Lead a crew of workers applying pavement markings.
- Operate and maintain air and airless paint machines.
- Perform new layouts, including radius, angle, and 90-degree parking.
- Install surface mount, pipe bollard, and dirt-mounted signs.
- Oversee projects from start to finish.
- Experience operating 2500 / 3500 HD trucks with bumper pull trailers.
- Operate striping equipment.
- Inspect completed work.
- Assign tasks to crew members based on skills.
- Train and supervise crew members.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Calculate material needs and manage inventory.
- All other duties as needed.
- 5 years minimum experience leading a crew.
- Must have 5 years minimum experience with pavement markings, striping, and signage.
- Must have experience with airport layout and painting.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be dependable with good punctuality.
- Must be a working foreman.
- Must be able to work outside in varied weather conditions.
- Must lift and carry objects up to 80 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
